All Ages: Acoustic Artists Story Teller Series - The Illustrious Grooves of Ryan Mitten Music
Wednesday, January 156:00—7:45 PMGrady Room

Are you looking for a new way to spend a musical evening at the library?
Wednesday evenings come the new year. I'm reinaugurating an Acoustic Artists Storyteller Series At Acton Library. The distinction being stories and songs paired with pics and visuals. Many of these tales have a local connection. Who doesn't want to hear about being backstage at X or when the lights went out on Z Or about the great flood of 82 ?
Each Artist will bring something uniquely special to the experience. Be here to share in the tale.
We kick off the series with our favorite renaissance man, The Illustrious Grooves of Ryan Mitten Music. Cellist and orator Ryan Mitten has entertained Acton patrons for our annual Giving Tree celebrations and remains a Make Music Day staple for us. What is music for? Why do we create music? This multi-instrument concert by Ryan Mitten Music explores the songs and stories of Ryan’s upbringing. This show will include sing-a-longs, original songs, and photographs from Ryan’s work at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Archive
Artists Coming Up: Terri Lachance, The Bards of Gungywamp, The Sweet Polly Duo, and Crows in the Meadow
