"Calling all future stars! Do you have what it takes to become a professional actor?
Yes, you already DO! It’s not just natural talent, or a look, or a certain personality… sometimes it’s just a matter of developing confidence, learning the craft and sharpening your own creativity. Come to the library after school on Friday, for a special screen-test workshop with former New York TV/Film Casting director, LISA LELAS. You’ll get a taste of what life as a professional actor looks like and how you might one day consider pursuing it as a career or hobby. Every attendee will be given a 30 second script in which to practice & ‘audition’ on camera for honest feedback during the workshop. Everything will be kept positive and fun…because the acting industry has room for everyone and prefers authentic people… after all, it’s not a Barbie world in real life! In addition to experiencing a screen test, you will learn what it takes to begin a professional acting journey, from the tools needed to how to audition to how to get work on a movie set and more! Limited space. Sign up today!
Free and open to ages 12-18 yrs. with registration.
